Skilled artisans smash recycled bottles into pieces, melt in high temperature ovens then roll and blow these sculptural carafes. Each one of these is unique and so highly prized in West Bank, they are often reserved as wedding gifts.

Hebron Glass is a collection of workshops in the city of Hebron in the West Bank. They were established in 1890 and there are roughly 60 craftsmen. Hebron Glass designs like these can be found in Palestinian houses as it has been part of their culture for ages. The various colors and unique designs are a family trade secret and it takes approximately five years to learn the art.
