Sana Hastakala, which means “small handicraft” in Nepali, is a nongovernmental, nonprofit export organization. Based in Kathmandu, Sana gives people – particularly those living in struggling regions – a livelihood. Today it employs staff and more than 1,200 makers who work at small studios and from home.
