Asha Handicrafts, in which Asha means 'hope' in Sanskirt, works to ensure that benefits of handicraft production reach the makers themselves. They have helped 1,300 students go to university since 2008. As a Fair Trade Organization, they are helping to spread the concepts and benefits of Fair Trading in India and abroad.
