Adlay Millet, also knows as Job's Tears are used in this bracelet. It is a seed that is native to Southeast Asia but has since been imported to Haiti where it is used commonly in jewelry.
In Haiti, orphanages are full of children whose parents don’t earn enough to feed them. The lack of jobs across the country leaves parents with an impossible choice. Papillon’s goal is to create more job opportunities to keep families fed and together.
